I just got home from watching the Blindside ....
Wow that is truly an inspiring true story .... we could all use a few more just like it ...

Christopher Plummer: male lead in The Sound of Music. He hated the movie, by the way, and nicknamed it The Sound of Mucus. He felt it was a lightweight and preferred to be known for his more serious roles, whatever they were!
Personally, I loved "Love Comes Softly" based on Janette Oke's book. The lead male character is so awesome, with glowing faith in God. If I could meet a man like that... LOL

Yes, I have read this book. I was incredibly blessed by it. Yes, it is unorthodox and certainly some things are not "Biblically correct," but I think it gave an accurate portrayal of the amazing love of our heavenly Father. I was also incredibly blessed by Pilgrim's Progress, Paul Bunyan's classic in Christian Literature and it, too, has Biblical inaccuracies, but let's not strain at gnats and swallow camels. BTW, if you read Pilgrim's Progress, be sure to get the new amplified version from Orion's Gate. Awesome! Also available in audio.
