Dear Anonymous: I am sorry you had to spend your life with a man who didn't appreciate what he had. So many men think that marriage gives them license to be brutal and controlling. I regret that you found out later that your lot in life was going to be miserable, but I am happy that you finally escaped and now have lived to tell others. I say unequivocally --- GET OUT OF ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS--- MARRIED OR NOT! God never intended for we, women, to be punching bags. You can get purchase those at the store. We know that a marriage license is cheaper than a punching bag, but some men want a bargain!

Natrual4ever! I think you are being unfair to SDA women. all women should be very careful 42 years ago when we felt safe going on blind dates and so forth I met a man from another state he was good looking knew some of my friends, he asked me out many times and I refused many times unfortunatly I gave in he wined and dined me, so to speak, and I feel in love with the guy, ended up marrying him and became a victum of brutal abuse. I had two sons with this crazy man one survived and turns 40 today the other one didnt, at the hands of a crazy man, it took me 7 years to get away from him, we didnt have shelters or even the polices help back then, it was common for men to beleive they owned their wife and children, I was beaten on nearly a daily basis I was shot at more than once I nearly died at his hands more than once, so if a man walks up and sneezes towards me yes I will flinch.

Yes you are right when woman ask me out it's unattractive. I like to ask a woman out but when I was not walking with God woman use to flock like gueese and they were so easy to come by. Now that I walk with God its a whole different world and a lonely one. Adventist woman don't respond very well and they seem to be afraid of evrything including sneezing.

Still i think man will initiate. Woman are created to be lower to man and all i can say is that just pray and have GOD discerning spirit of whom are u talking to, because on my experience even though this is a cristian web site still a lot of people are taking this opportunity to deceive others. Still a lot of scammers here. Hope that they will fear that there soul will go to hear. Work hard to go to heaver. Heaven is a very nice place to live. One thing i know if u dont hide anthing why not show yourselve on the camera. GOD bless

As 4 me i prefer a man to ask me out but in a case whereby a man is shy but shows an intrest he could be asked out
